Materials Boots are available in a variety of materials including leather, which is among the top popular options due to its toughness, softness and level of water resistance. Other popular choices are rubber, suede and nylon which serve different functions like cold weather wear or outdoor work.

There are many styles of boots available today that range from ankle-length to over-the-thigh boots, depending on your individual needs and style preferences. Ankle-length boots are better suited to warmer climates or when walking around cities, while over-the-thigh boots work better when working outside.

Material selection plays an important part in the durability and the comfort of boots. Leather is a classic option made of soft and durable leather that provides high levels of comfort for feet. Rubber is waterproof, and suede offers soft, velvety cushioning beneath the feet.

A lot of boots are made from various materials that accommodate different requirements and preferences. For example, some boots include wool lined to provide warmth and insulation, while nylon fabric that is lightweight can be added for ventilation purposes.

Care Maintain your footwear looking pristine by following a few easy rules. First, regularly brushing or wiping off dust or dirt will prevent microscopic fibers that keep leather supple from being cut off by dirt. For leathers with a smooth finish, boots, regularly apply leather conditioner and then test small portions to ensure that it will not alter or alter its appearance. Then, apply a protective spray or beeswax to protect against snow and rain with products available at most shoe stores - follow instructions on the labels!

Leathers with rough finishes such as suede and nubuck need to be regularly maintained using a soft bristled brush and clean cloth, along with regular conditioning treatments to improve their water-resistant (DWR) appearance. Resoling boots with waterproofing treatment made from waxes will impede the sole's ability to bond effectively.

Lane Boots takes great pride in knowing that their stylish fans report feeling at ease and even happy wearing their boots, thanks to the craftsmanship and attention to detail - something President Justine Lord noted as evidence Lane's products go beyond cowboy boots!
